For over a week in February 2021, Texas experienced a historic weather event. Freezing temperatures and the near collapse of the state’s power grid resulted in millions of Texans losing power. Projected to be one of the largest claims events in Texas, the insurance industry is responding to our customers in the wake of hundreds of thousands of homeowners, renters, business and auto claims helping them recover from property damage that also tragically resulted in dozens of lives lost.
